Mennica Skarbowa has become a Patron of the Immersion Exhibition entitled “The Sistine Chapel. Heritage”. In the course of the cooperation undertaken, the Company plans to issue gold coins and bars with the image of frescoes from the Sistine Chapel. The Sistine Chapel is the second most visited museum in the world and the place where the Pope is elected during the Conclave. Thanks to the multimedia Exhibition being built on the meadows of the PGE National Stadium, starting November 18 in Warsaw, it will be possible to see Michelangelo’s famous frescoes without having to travel to the Vatican. The exhibition “The Sistine Chapel. Heritage” is under the auspices of the Vatican Museum and under its direct patronage.

Poland has been chosen as the first country to host the Exhibition entitled “The Sistine Chapel. Heritage”. The location to which the Exhibition will come in mid-November will be the PGE National Stadium’s meadows in Warsaw. The exhibition will be spread over three halls. Artworks that please the senses, an educational formula, the world’s most advanced audiovisual equipment, and the immersive nature of the Exhibition, placed on an area of over 1,700 sq. m – are expected to acquaint visitors with outstanding artists of the Renaissance (including Michelangelo Buonarroti) and the history of the creation of the Sistine Chapel itself. The creation of the innovative Exhibition will make it possible, for the first time ever, to enter the Sistine Chapel in Europe outside the Vatican.

Among other things, visitors will have the opportunity to view Michelangelo’s famous frescoes and an educational film about the Sistine Chapel, read trivia related to it, and see unique replicas of Michelangelo’s sculptures, such as David and Pietà. Mennica Skarbowa – an experienced investment partner, a Company listed on the New Connect Stock Exchange – has become a patron of the Exhibition, committed to the mission of popularizing culture. We are convinced that our cooperation will contribute to the popularization of science, culture and art, both in Poland and abroad – assures Bartłomiej Feluś, Exhibition Organizer, Dom Emisyjny Manuscriptum.

The exhibition will be presented in one of the pavilions being built for this purpose, having the dimensions of the Sistine Chapel at its base. Famous works will be displayed using Digital Art 360 technology, as large-format, colorful, vivid images. The immersive exhibition is not only a visual experience, but also a sensation evoked with the help of virtual reality. The walls and vault of the pavilion will be transformed into a passionate story that will allow viewers to encounter art in an unprecedented way.

– Mennica Skarbowa has become a Patron of the Exhibition, as we have no doubt that financing culture is one of the best investments. The exhibition titled “The Sistine Chapel. Heritage” is an interesting international project that will be a big attraction for family groups. We want to support this original idea by enriching this venture with our products as well. We plan to mint gold coins and bars with the image of the Sistine Chapel frescoes, which will be available to collectors, but also to all Exhibition visitors. In addition, every Exhibition visitor with a valid admission ticket will have access to special discounts available at our Branches throughout Poland. The cooperation with Dom Emisyjny Manuscriptum, the Organizer of the Exhibition, and indirectly with the Vatican Museum, also brings the opportunity to promote Mennica Skarbowa both in Poland and internationally, i.e. wherever the Exhibition will be presented over the three years – comments Adam Stroniawski, Managing Director of Sales for Mennica Skarbowa.

The world premiere of the Exhibition titled “The Sistine Chapel. Heritage” will take place on November 18, 2023 on the meadows of the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw (right next to gate 11). Visitors will be able to enjoy the multimedia Exhibition for several months from Monday to Sunday, from 09:00 to 21:00. Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance now.
